I just adore The Pretty Blog. When I submitted my second wedding of the year to them I had my finger and toes crossed that they would love it just as much as I did. I am absolutely thrilled to have Sarah + Alex's classic spring wedding featured there! If you haven't visited The Pretty Blog yet, now is your chance to fall in love like I did. It's not only a beautiful wedding blog, but it goes beyond that. It truly is a blog that embodies LOVE | LIVE | EAT.
Erin + Bryan threw a sweet southern wedding hosted at their dear friends' horse farm, with beautiful touches of yellow and grey. The weather couldn't have been more perfect on this summer day.
I am thrilled to have Kate + Andrew's gorgeous spring wedding featured on Borrowed & Blue today. This is an amazing local blog that not only features wonderful vendors, but is a huge resource when planning a wedding. Many thanks for showcasing Kate + Andrew's special day. Their wedding focused on family and the love that they share.
This fantastic wedding was in the heart of Washington, D.C. It was fun to be in my old stomping grounds. I lived in DC back in 1996 when I attended the Corcoran School of Art and Design. The bride and groom got dressed at the luxurious W Hotel which had gorgeous natural light. It was such a fun, urban setting for a wedding. I'll admit, it was a bit of a challenge since the time change had happened already, this was back in November, and by the time their ceremony was over the light was GONE. We made use of street lamps and ambient light from the reception that was held at the Long View Art Gallery for some modern images. Most of all, I remember how in LOVE these two were and I wish them the best of luck for a happy marriage.
